Unless you want to be - I don't know - an architect, where you work nine to five and get paid quite well and never do shift work, there'll be some architect watching this going, hang on a second [laugh], I work very hard on Sundays because of this project.

Nilufer 00:17

Tim Johns at the Jeremy Vine Show, was it? [laugh]

Robin 00:22

[laugh] 18th birthday parties were just chaotic, whereas 21st birthday parties, which we had during third and fourth year, you could see that we've grown up, people were like, no let's go to a restaurant, let's wear some nice clothes, let's treat it like an event.

Nilufer 00:41

Greyfriars Bobby or Scott Monument?

Safoora 00:43

Oh, Greyfriars Bobby, I miss that doggy!

Nilufer 00:46

To carry on the quiz - best restaurant or café in Edinburgh?

Juan 00:49

We just ended up in Teviot all the time having halloumi burgers. It's my favorite building in the world, I think.

Nilufer 00:54

It's so good.

Hello and welcome to Season 7 of Multi story Edinburgh. I'm Nilufer Aumeerally, your new host. Join me this season as I share jokes, ask advice and learn lots from inspiring alumni guests. Reflecting on their time at Edinburgh, and their career since, our Multi Story Mentors have plenty to share.

Maria 01:20

Success is being excited to go to work and excited to come home.

Juan 01:25

Hey, it's okay. A lot of people have these doubts.

Robin 01:28

If you get other people's perspectives, it takes that voice out of your head and it allows you to look for different options.

Safoora 01:34

Say yes to things and know when to say no. That's also a very valuable skill, but, I say, don't feel free to say yes.

Maria 01:42

And hopefully that inspires people that feel bad if they want to change or feel like they want to do different lots of things versus just one.

Tim 01:50

No one should ever think, oh, I don't want to be a clown, because that'd be a waste of my degree experience. If you want to be a clown, go for it!

Nilufer 01:58

Um, do you want to do like a little bye?

Safoora 02:01

Goodbye, everyone. Thank you for listening.

Nilufer 02:04

Perfect.
